| The mission of the McHenry Area Youth Commission (M.A.Y.C.) is to provide recreational based prevention programs for youth. Our mission is “Keeping Healthy Kids Healthy,” by promoting responsible choices about alcohol, tobacco and other drugs. These programs are provided through a community based linkage of educational and governmental agencies within the McHenry and Johnsburg area. |

| The Summer 2012 Program is designed to give participants on opportunity to learn valuable life lessons. The program creates a safe environment where youth can make new friends, try new things and have lots of fun! Participants will also participate in small groups (groups separated by age that provide opportunities to learn about different topics and ask questions), open hours activities (crafts, indoor/outdoor activities), and fun field trips. Program runs Monday thru Friday 8 week-long sessions Hours 10am-3pm (extended hours available from 7:30am-5:30pm) |
